NPR and the Ole College Try
So, I am completely uninformed about the world. Well, let me clarify. You want to know where Ben and Jen are staying while they are in ATL (Buckhead)? You want to know what Kate Middleton’s sister’s name is (Pippa)? You want to know where Laura Jean Reese Witherspoon went to high school in Nashville (Harpeth Hall)? I can hook you up. But for the latest up-to-date info on Libya, I might have to take some “lib”erties. This weekend at non-Reader Lucy’s bachelorette party (pics to come), Reader Mo discovered my lack of knowledge about the world and said, “I used to think you were really intelligent, but I think I’m going to retract that.” Instead of trying to convince her of the difference in intelligence and being informed, I decided to turn off The Bert Show (tear, I love you Jenn Hobby) in the morning and give NPR the ole college (re: educated) try on my hourlong commute this morning.
Did I learn some things, yes. Did I like the opera segments, no. Will keep you posted.
