Vampire Weekend = Love (No this is not a Twilight Post)

In the ongoing effort to become the type of totally edgy girl that knows lots of cool music, have been working vigorously to expand musical palate.  Last night, went to Vampire Weekend at The Tabernacle, no big deal (btw – The Tabernacle is uber cool and will make you feel like a hipster in 10 seconds.  Insta hipster.  Opened in 1910, it used to be a church before being converted to a House of Blues for the Olympics).  Quick  guide for reforming pop addicts: love the songs “Run,” “Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa,” and “Oxford Comma.”

Anyway, last night, lead singer Ezra Koenig officially tied Adrian Grenier as #1 celebrity love.  It was even his birthday!!  Graduated from Columbia, taught school for a year, lives in NYC and plays in a band with his friends.  Too cute!!

Mom Bags

Maybe it’s because we love eMum, maybe it’s because we like to channel our inner forty-something, but we’ve always had a little thing for the Mom bag.  Then, after seeing an uber stylish looking young lady carrying an old school Dooney & Burke, we’re thinking about brown bagging it Mom style.  So, what do you think about this Cole Haan bag, 50% off for $178?

"My Life in ATL"

Julia Child had “My Life in France,” but we bet she never saw anything this cool in the grocery store parking lot.
