We’re a year old, and we’re publishing one of our first posts to commemorate the birthday and the new year!

From January 1, 2008:

We have quite a few New Year’s Resolutions this year.  From standard “exercise 5 days a week” and “take more pictures,” to “move out of my parents house and never return for real this time.”  But whatever you feel you want to improve upon, we offer one word of advice:

Whether you are an artist or a student or a writer or a dancer or a singer or a thinker or a runner or a dreamer, paint and work and write and dance and sing and think and run and dream as if your life depends on it.  Because in some ways, it does.  The talents we are given that we foolishly waste are precious gifts that should be fostered, protected, and developed.  Developed and shared with the world…

If there is anything we like around here, it’s Suri and posh city desserts.  So when Suri had a fabulous cake and did a fabulous beauty queen wave at her 2nd birthday, we knew it would be a good day.  Suri and her famous parents celebrated with pizza and sprinkles cupcakes last year.  This year, they upgraded to a 4-tier Sweet Lady Jane cake.  Mom is mum on the plans, but hopefully we will get a E! top 20 celebrity baby party special to hear more about the big day.  Happy Birthday Suri! 

Kate, Owen, and Wilson parent’s had Kate’s 29th birthday dinner in Miami in Lario, owned by Gloria Estefan (wow, haven’t thought about her in awhile).  After dinner, the lovebirds went to the Shore Club and walked hand in hand to the Sky Bar.  How Jayonce of them!
