You know we love a deal, so when we saw Mon Ami bracelets on sale for $29 (regularly $200), we had to have them. Gotta love Jill’s Steals & Deals (Comforters, Stella & Jamie handbags, and Philosophy beauty products on sale too). What is it about these bracelets that actually look sort of like something the love of our seventh grade life gave us for Christmas circa 1995, and why are they better now? Jay-Z, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna, Heidi Klum, and Demi Moore love them. Duh, #WINNING.

Emi-Jay “hair ties” (the company has elected for a more sophisticated nomenclature than “ponytail holders”) has solved a problem we’ve struggled with for many years. We HAVE to have a ponytail holder, er hair tie available at all times (you never know when wavy hair might go flat, straight hair might frizz, or running shoes might call), but Goody ponytail holders next to pretty gold bracelets does not a happy emum make. Emi-Jay hair ties on your wrist look cute and slightly bohemian and never force you to be the type of woman who runs with her hair down (anytime we ever see one of these Kelly Killoren Bensimon-ish women we feel confident that they have no girlfriends, because no one who has girlfriends would feel comfortable acting that annoyingly coquettish). For those of you trying to follow our lead and paint your own nails in 2011 (what a bore), you’ll be happy to know that they now carry Essie at Walgreens. This is like when Spanx started their Assets brand for Target all over again! And the selection is good – not all low rent shades you’ve never seen before. My fav color right now? Mink muffs! Saw some cool blues for summer. What’s your favorite Essie color?

Spanx just debuted their newest product…the undershirt…for men. On the one hand, it’s pretty hard to imagine most men actually buying these, but it is pretty cute to think that somewhere out there there is a man that has a glimpse of what it’s like to be a girl. What do you think? Will these bomb? Or will men think Man Spanx are da bomb?
