We at elaney have a love hate relationship with all things Tory Burch. Tory B just seems so obvious. Everyone has the flats; everyone recognizes the logo, but at the same time, you kind of like the flats. And you sort of want to sport the logo. It’s like a rich man’s Miley Cyrus. You don’t want to like it, but you kind of do. So after a rather public and controversial stance on the flats, we feel that there is no going back there. But Neiman M has all the bags 50% off. Is it time for a truce?! What do you think – TB bags: bag it or bag it up?

There is something redeeming about big bags and sunglasses. The exorbitant prices feel a little less offensive, perhaps because you get a litle more material (?). It’s like you’re getting a little more what you deserve. In fact, every now and then, we think to ourselves, “You know what would make us feel better (assuming the frivoulous trip to Target has not worked)…A really big bag.” Try this one by Antik Batik – $200 off.

We like bags more than shoes, but every now and then we find a pair of kicks that make “Stop and Staaaaaaare,” and here they are! We used to hate animal print, but light animal prints, especially tan and white and tan and cream are uber-tasteful and hip. These Sergio Rossi Giraff print heels are gorg, and a great look for 2008. We won’t lie. At elaney, we love to admire the name brands. Oh we like a deal. We looooove a deal. But we certainly like to admire from afar a little bling bling designer dud. And we like Louis. But we don’t know which Louis we like the best. The traditional (like Naomi Campbell), or the Damier (like Hilary Duff). What do you think?
