And the Academy Goes to…

We looooove the Academy Awards. So much so that when we watch them, we still think about chasing the childhood dream and becoming an actress and moving to LA (after passing the age limit for the Miss America pageant – it’s all we have). This year they’ve switched it up and nominated 10 films for best picture. Just announced this morning, what do you think will win?!

I did not like “Up in the Air”….. don’t understand the love for this film? A few funny parts and GC is adorable, otherwise not Academy Award quality….

i don’t think it will win, but “up” was incredible! i’m so glad it was nominated – the sweetest movie!!

Avatar….they paid for the Oscar by spending $400 billion on the film.

I saw Avatar against my will and loved it. I hear the effects are getting more attention than the quality of the film, though.
