On the Fifth Day of Christmas…
You bust out old Chevy! Christmas movies! What a joy for all. There are so many good ones out there, but because [insert 2 twins related to elaney that have given us a strict order to stop mentioning them on the blog - exact words "laney you are unprofessional"] looked just like little Macauley Culkin, Home Alone is our runaway (or should we say “left behind”) favorite. Other top contenders…The Santa Clause, The Holiday, and Christmas Vacation (duh). We know you wanna answer…what are yours?

i’m going to go w “it’s a wonderful life” as my all time favorite. makes me cry every time and i LOVE the dancing scene when they fall in the pool!! however, i also need to acknowledge “love actually” and “the sound of music” bc for some reason, they always play it over christmas!!

I love all the ones mentioned above. Christmas Vacation and Home Alone always get me in the Christmas mood. I also like The Family Stone.

Does Die Hard Count? I mean it does take place at a Christmas party and Bruce Willis does say the line: Ho Ho Ho. Big fan of Christmas Vacation and Disney’s A Christmas Carol.

Has anyone seen Prancer? So good. I also like all claymation movies. And Home Alone 2.

on christmas eve, tnt (or one of those channels) plays A Christmas Story for 24 straight hours–still makes me laugh after the fifth time.
home alone is also a big one in our house.

Grace, claymation is so creepy. What’s that one with the old man and the boy? Weird.
I like A Christmas story, Home Alone, and Elf of course.

My family has a ridiculous obsession with Will Ferrell’s “Elf” movie. We quote it year round and still manage to laugh like it’s the first time every Christmas when we watch it again… and again… and again.

I forgot Elf….I laugh everytime he says”son of a Nutcracker.”

Are you thinking of Wallace and Grommit? Bc that is not Christmas claymation. Huge difference.

Does the movie Love Actually count? If so, it gets my vote. Granted, there are more than a few innappropriate parts. Leave it up to Momma E to walk in on the most inopportune scenes.

Sorry…doing way too many things at once. “Inopportune” should have been inappropriate.
