Reader Lauren and the crew at elaney have been working to get digital cable available at the office for the interns to monitor celebrity news 24 hours a day. Comcast is officially a comcastrophe. And they worst part of it is – you can literally do NOTHING about it. Ever had it out with the cable or utility company? Or any big business that you were a mere pawn in their monopoly? Well, “com, cast” your burdens on us! Air your grievances here!

work is trying to kill me right now.
luckily, i have charter and they have been pretty good to us, but i have heard many many comcast horror stories….good luck

It makes me mad that as an existing customer you can’t get the internet/cable bundle…that option is only available for new customers – WTF?

i mean these people act like they are doing you a favor by doing the services they are supposed to…like you should expect crappy service

I hate comcast!!! Something is always wrong whether it’s cable or internet. I hate it!

Verizon can kiss my tail. I have NO phone service at my house b/c I’m ever-so-slightly down a hill. My phone acts as if I’m a mile below sea level. The super helpful lady at the Verizon store told me I could get phone service at my house for a mear $249.00 for some internet/phone wire hook up service blah blah blah. Thanks guys for “making every effort to meet and exceed” my expectations.” (a quote from an email I received from yet another super helpful Verizon employee. I’ve tried that avenue too.)

i have the regional manager for comcast’s name and number if you ever feel like prank calling her- i do it when i’m having a bad day.
j/k on the prank calling- but i really do have her name and number from a previous comcastrophe and trust me- if you are persistent enough- you can get all the deals that the “new customers” get as an existing customer.
