We love Christmas, and we think it’s a shame when things get too busy and you forget to enjoy the season.  Sub one month until the big day, so we like to make a list of fun things to do to savor the spirit.  Some are original and some are old favorites, but it’s fun when you make an effort to do them.

1.  Buy someone on your list a gift you really can’t afford.  2.  Bake something for your neighbors.  3.  Drink a Gingerbread Latte from Starbucks.  4.  Wear tacky earrings to work one day.  5.  Pay for someone behind you in line and then smile and say “Merry Christmas!”  6.   Make Magnolia Bakery Cookies from scratch and decorate them.  7.  Get a chocolate Nativity Calendar.  8.  Light Advent candles on Sundays.  9.  Listen to Christmas music in your car.  10.  Take a cute kid to sit in Santa’s lap (or get a wild hair and do it yourself!!)
