Chik-Fil-a Diet Lemonade Recipe
1 Quart Water
1 Cup Splenda
1 Cup Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
We love Chikfila Diet Lemonade and are surprised to see how easy it is to make. We suspect it would not be as good if we made it, as “fresh squeezed lemon juice” requires an unattainable level of patience for us. Nevertheless, it is a great healthy afternoon summer treat. 25 calories in a small and 40 calories in a large.

My Mom swears she invented this drink at Chandler’s pharmacy while she waited on me at Dr. Cave’s!

Splenda is the worst sweetner on the market. It is one molecule away from chlorine. Do youself a favor and use aspartame (Equal) instead.

Aspartame gives me migraines. Splenda doesn’t, even though it has an off-putting aftertaste. The sour of the lemon masks it in this recipe.

I just tried this recipe with bottled lemon juice – and it came out fabulously! The bottle did state “natural strength” on it.
If you make it with fresh squeezed lemons, I recommend you add a capful of pure lemon extract. It will help balance out any inconsistencies in your lemon juice.
Enjoy and rejoice in having your lemonade and your skinny jeans, too!

I still taste the aftertaste. Is there something I’m doing wrong?
Thanks.
P.S. I tried the extract and it didn’t sit well with me.

Lyn – no, there is only so much you can do with the aspartame aftertaste.
