Favorite Things #5: Pashminas
We need to tell you something.
Our name is elizabethlaney, and we are addicted to pashminas.
It’s true. We can’t help but have pashmina-fever. They dress up an outfit and make us feel a little extra sparkle in our step. We have a hard time walking out the door without a pashmina – even when it might be a little overkill. Do you love your pashmina as much as we do? We want to hear about your wool abuse problem. And even more importantly, are you in the market for a new one: http://www.thepashminastore.com/?

I LOVE PASHMINAS! I have about 12. I find they are great on days when your coats have dog hair all over them….

You can buy Pashminas at the airport for $2. That makes them seem a little declasse.

Wow Possum! You have such refined taste for woman named after roadkill.

I never said I was a woman. Also, I believe you are referring to the opossum, which is found in North America. The Possum is found mainly in Australia, New Guinea and New Zealand.

I was actually googling monogram bumper stickers. I was thinking of getting one with my initials pMp.

Possum, you don’t strike us as a monogrammed bumper sticker type. Do you carry as good bit of Vera Bradley?

Only because I got the entire Greenfield line back in ’99.

I know from personal experience that C-handler loves a good pashmina! I can’t keep him out of mine!

Another reminder of why C-handler is our perfect male reader.

Unperfect caveman male reader wonder: what be pashmina?

It’s a scarf named after the cashmere wool of which it’s made. Pashmina wool is made from a certain kind of goat found in and around Nepal.

That makes sense. And what does elizabethlaney think about alpaca?

Hmm, we like the idea of it, but wikipedia didn’t have sufficient examples of fashion products. Can you provide a link of alpaca fleece in use?
