Date: Sunday March 30th.
Time: Circa 3 pm.
Place: Lenox Mall, Atlanta.
Summary of events: Waiting in line at J.Crew, elizabethlaney noticed a well dressed individual in mid-twenties (cool boots, hot sweater) and then, elaney spotted her bag. The bag that is our soulmate. The Jimmy Choo Rana Slick Satchel in black. Can you say….omg? We could not take our eyes off the bag. We wanted to grab it, to take it, to run with it. It is so pretty, so perfect. And so sad that it costs $1,475 and is the Prince William of bags and we can never have it. Sigh…
It’s that time again. Summer! (Well, almost). And that means time for margaritas and guacamole as the sun sets. Our favorite guacamole is from NYC’s Dos Caminos, and since there is a DC chef on Top Chef, we decided to be festive and track down the recipe. Yum!

Ingredients
2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro leaves
2 teaspoons finely chopped white onion
2 teaspoons minced jalapeño or Serrano chilies, seeds and membranes removed, if desired
1/2 teaspoon Kosher salt
2 large ripe Hass avocados from Mexico, peeled and seeded
2 tablespoons cored, seeded, and finely chopped plum tomatoes (1 small tomato)
2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lime juice
Instructions
In a medium size bowl, use the back of a spoon to mash 1 tablespoon of the cilantro, 1 teaspoon onion, 1 teaspoon of minced chile, and 1/2 teaspoon salt together against the bottom of the bowl.
Add the avocados and gently mash them with a fork until chunky-smooth. Fold the remaining cilantro, onion, and chile into the mixture. Stir in tomatoes and lime juice, taste to adjust the seasonings, and serve with a basket of warm corn tortilla chips.
